I live in Raleigh now

I managed to survive the shitstorm that is the city of Charlotte and am now in the state's moderately lovely capitol, Raleigh. Err, I'm technically IN Marion at the moment, but that's another story not worth telling. So far the move has been fine--no major problems--but trouble has a way of finding me, it seems. Already I've bought too many books (used books, mind you, but shelf space and my wallet can only take so many hits), and have only managed to read one book thus far: I managed to finish Russo's Straight Man, which I thought was only slightly less interesting than Empire Falls, which I really enjoyed. I spent a couple nights re-reading Beowulf, too, and read almost half of Beckett's Waiting For Godot before tiring of it and opting for something else. I'll have to post a
